Should I buy this car? Really caught my attention, tbh.
Thanks.
Could be a fun weekend toy. However, a 30 year old car is not a good choice for most people as a daily driver.
That mileage on a thirty year old car is very, very suspicious. I'd have it checked out by an independent mechanic, especially a compression and a leak down test. You said MagnaFlow catalytic converter and x pipe installed. Why did the CATs go bad in the first place??
Could have been a performance add-on.
Magna Flow makes mufflers, not catalytic converters, to my knowledge. He said catalytic converters @chucktobias
@doc, the company is also known for performance catalytic converters. The X-pipe is also a performance enhancement.

@chucktobias I stand corrected, but still, why replace the CARS? He never said why.
Hard to say if it's a good buy; you didn't mention how much is being asked for this Mustang Cobra???
I have a soft spot for this generation as I had a 1991 GT and is the only Mustang that didn't give me any headaches back in the 90's (except for a speeding ticket in NM). At 30 years old wouldn't use it as a daily driver, but good for a weekend toy.
