Hello Scotty and,

Purchased in 2019, a used 2017 Ford Escape Titanium. Eco boost 1.5 I4 GTDi DOHC Turbocharged VCT, 6-speed transmission.

This year work completed: (Transmission Shop) transmission rebuilt, torque converter, valve body, transmission oil cooler and transmission ?WA, (Dealership) recall performed bushing that attaches the shifter cable to the transmission and oil change, (Auto Repair Shop) oil leak at turbo line-replace turbocharger oil pipe, P1450 replace purge valve assembly, P06E9 replaced starter and relay,U-Codes U0455,U3003, U0164, U0253 services troubleshoot found pinched wires at modules, relearn liftgate programming, and a new battery.

Problem is I no longer have faith in this car and to top it off the dealership said that the technician was new and doesn’t know what he is commenting on. Therefore, I would have to pay for a diagnosis to see what the real problem was concerning the oil leak, and possible another charge for the check engine light. My impression was that I would have to pay $400 just to tell me what needed to be fixed and he did say any repairs are in addition to the diagnosis'. The tech had wrote on my paperwork “Found oil return tube from turbo to engine block is leaking.” I decided to have an auto repair shop fix my car since the service manager threw the employee under the bus (they did do the recall and oil change).

I trust the auto repair shop a lot more than the others.  Should I cut my loses now and get a NEW or Used car? With my luck, the next problem might be the engine.

Forgot to mention the care has about 100,000 miles.
