Spark Plug tube filled with oil

I recently bought a 2006 Honda CR-V with 194k miles (2.4L 4 cylinder). Was changing out the spark plugs since the idle was rough and the engine would sputter every 10 seconds or so (in idle). Turns out that the 3rd spark plug tube was filled with oil. I plan on replacing the valve cover gasket and tube seals hoping that will fix the issue, but I saw a Youtube video about this exact issue where the youtuber stated that the oil leak in the spark plug tube is likely not due to degrading seals, but rather due to oil seeping up through the bottom of the spark plug tube through the threads. The youtuber then suggested that the fix to this is to take out the spark plug tube and seal the threads of the tube with Honda bond before reinserting the tube. I am uncomfortable doing something that invasive, since removing the spark plug tubes could likely damage them, especially if done by someone with my experience. Is it safe to drive the car after replacing the seals to test if they fixed the issue, or should I go ahead and do the Honda bond trick while I have the valve cover off?

You could put some UV dye in the oil to see where it's seeping in.
