2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Starting issues at random

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi and approximately 220,000 miles.
My issue is that sometimes it starts normally and other times when I try to start it, I can hear some clicking, I think is from the solenoid. If I continue to hold the key it will sometimes start and sometimes it will click for several times and then quit. I can turn the key off and back to start and again it might start or might click before starting or click several times and then quit again.
As I mentioned this is random because the truck might start fine several times before acting up again.

Please see the FAQ for "no crank" condition.

I looked at all the videos under FAQ but I didn’t find the answer as to why my truck starts sometimes but other times it just clicks.
I did turn the headlights on and they are bright.
I know it’s not the battery because it might click one minute and start the next try.

Are you sure you went through all the provided material carefully? I don't see any troubleshooting posted that you've tried.
Did you try boosting it from another vehicle?
Did you have your battery + alternator load tested?
Checked your fuses, starter relays?
Banged on the starter?

I haven’t had the battery load tested yet, but with a bad battery wouldn’t it not start ever.
I can watch the battery gauge in the truck go up a little when running.
This truck doesn’t have a starter relay. It is built into the TIPM.

Seems like a common problem with RAMS

If I get a chance tomorrow evening, I will check this out. Thanks.

Okay, I lifted the TIPM out of the box so that I can see the underside where all of the wires are but I don’t know which wire I’m looking for. I see your picture of a yellow with red stripe, but I see more than one. Which connector is it in, from top to bottom, I have a black, brown, blue and a gray or over to the side where the smaller connectors are, I have a gray, blue, black, brown, another gray and another black.

you'll need an electrical schematic. Haynes manuals are pretty good.

Thanks mountainman. I will try to locate one.
I thought you knew.
Thanks for what help you have given me.

I try to stay away from Chrysler/Fiats.
