I've had a sticky rear brake 3x in the last 3 years. The hand brake loosens every time, and I get a strong vibration at high speed sometimes.
What could be the problem?
For the sticky brake, change the pads. Use quality ones. About the brake cable, if you already adjusted it and it becomes loose, change it. The cable might be stretched.
Regarding the vibration, when does that happen? When you brake or while driving (and at what speed)?
I've had the pads and rotors changed multiple times. I will try having the cable replaced.
The vibe intermittent, and when it happens it's usually at high speeds 80-100 km/he.
Does the vibration happen when accelerating or it is always there at higher speeds?
The vibe happens at steady high speed 80-100kmh. I haven’t noticed it vibrating during acceleration.
Check the CV axles.
