I thinking about buy a used F80 (2014-2019) as my daily driver. I don't drive that much, really only a couple days out of the week usually, since I work online from home, and that's mostly to run some errands and go to the groceries or on a date. A lot of car reviewers as well as owners say it's a very reliable car, probably the most reliable BMW you can get at the moment. I'm just wondering if there's anyone in here who has any experience with it to confirm it's reliability and what it was like owning it.
Well they're really fun cars to drive but most guys don't get one of those. M3s is an everyday driver. They're more toys for zooming around it. And realize repairs are exceptionally expensive on those vehicles and if you buy a used one who's to say whether the previous owner people live in crap out of it and there's nothing left. You would have to have a guy like me. Check it out before you buy it for sure if you're serious
For the most part, I would say they are more or less reliable. But still a money pit, because it cost so much $$$ to maintain.
