Hey Scotty I have a 2001 f150 5.4 triton V8. It has 175,000 miles should I change the automatic transmission fluid or leave it as is

When was it last changed? What does the owner's manual say in the maintenance schedule?

How does the fluid look? Is it burned and/or gritty? If not it should be safe to do a simple drain and fill. Do not flush.

If it has not been changed yet, just leave it alone.
