Hello. What are ways to reduce drag on any car? My Civic tends to drag on certain roads especially certain ones on the freeway. Power wise Cold Air Intake, Exhaust system and Spitfire performance chip seems to help considering it doesn't lose as much speed. Exterior wise I'm not sure what all helps and makes it more aerodynamic aside from a spoiler which I have the factory version on the way for delivery. Are there other ways to reduce drag and improve aero?
Spoilers increase drag.
The purpose of spoilers is to add some down-force, which is utterly pointless on your car.
This!
This is facts. Power is the answer here. But turbos don't come cheap and affect reliability. So just depends what his end goal is. But yeah, I wasn't gonna say anything about the spoiler since he already ordered it...but you're 100% right.
True I also bought it for looks cause I've been doin exterior changes
1. Contact Boeing & ask them to design you a drag reduction device -

2. Maybe buy a faster car if your budget allows. I’m sure @mod_man would love to go into the details of your intended modifications & performance gains (or losses), above.
Indeed. Lol.
Or install wings 😂😆

Lol let’s change tactics.
I would get ahold of a faster car but because my momma says to me if I buy another car I must get rid of my current and I refuse to do it so I decided to stick with my current
Not particularly. The Civic is pretty aerodynamic from the factory...that's how it gets its MPG ratings.
What you need, my friend, is more power.
Ye it does get great fuel economy but I'm not sure of what other budget mods there are
Not many budget mods. If you want significant speed, you'll need a turbo.
Oh okay
Underbody panel, most modern cars have them but some dont, they help smooth out the underside so theres nowhere that air gets caught.
Hmm
ditch the drag queen
