What is causing my 2016 Corolla LE CVT with 130k miles to idle up when coasting slowly, with poss. related clunk?

Not sure if this is a "live with it" problem (or two) or a "need to fix" problem so I need to ask: What is likely causing these symptoms and are they a critical fix set of symptoms or are they "old age/high mileage" quirks? It has no "check engine" light on. I'm unsure if my cheap-ish OBD-II unit can check for the problem.

My car, a 2016 Corolla LE CVT with 130k mi, has recently started "running funny", in short. I have noticed a couple things that showed up at once.
1) It idles 200-300rpm higher when coasting at >~10 but <~25 mph almost exclusively (used to be ~1100rpm, now ~1400). It revs up 200rpm when I let off the throttle instead of "idling" down to ~1100rpm as previously. It's quite a bit pushier and harder to stop than before as a result but still plenty doable.
2) I have also noticed it clunks when accelerating, only after coasting, on flat ground or downhill slightly (most noticeable when feathering the throttle). Not a loud clunk, but very distinctly a clunk and not every time. Only when going straight as well, it does not clunk when turning and accelerating. Since it showed up at the same time, I suspect it may be related.
I have cleaned the MAF sensor in response to these symptoms but little has changed besides it running a bit smoother.
Bit of a mess of stuff all at once, but the sudden change has me concerned. Any ideas what is happening?

Clean the throttle body as well.

I cleaned the throttle body, didn't unplug it before moving it, then did unplug it before cleaning it. Turns out that middle bit screws with the idle. After being thoroughly cleaned with a can of cleaner, toothbrush, and cloth (and reinstalling) it started at 3k and idled at 1.5k. Turns out after *that* it needed a rest overnighjt, engine drag-down in Drive at a stop, another rest, then a drive cycle or two with no AC. THAT fixed it. Runs like it used to before the oddities. Still clunks. Don't mind it now, it is quieter about it than before.

For the clunk, check the motor and transmission mounts.
By the way, have you changed the transmission fluid yet?
