2007 Chrysler 300 Limited 3.5l V6. (173k mls)
Hey Forum,
last night while i was driving home and my car stalled out. After trying to start it, it would only crank once like it had a low battery. But the alternator, battery and starter are all good. I got it towed home and got it to start, but now it sounds like a 12v cummins and the engine halts to a stop after approximately 15 seconds of running. And when i say halts to a stop, i mean EVERYTHING clunks and stops in its tracks. the fuel pump primes fine and the fuel system seems to have pressure.

Thinking timing related... might be time for a new engine.

take off the serpentine belt and see if that helps any
