[Solved] Why are Honda crankshaft pulley bolts so notoriously hard to break?

I have a 2006 Honda Civic Si with 203,000 miles. I recently needed to replace the crankshaft pulley because the original one was worn and causing the serpentine belt to slip off the idler pulley. Popping off the crank bolt was quite an ordeal that involved a 2 foot breaker bar and leveraging a 4 foot aluminum pipe on the end of the breaker, then standing on the end of the pipe - and my car has no rust, having spent its entire life in Georgia. Every online source says that these crank bolts are perhaps the hardest bolts to break on any car or truck, anywhere. Why are Honda crank bolts so notoriously tough? Are they purposely over-tightened from the factory?

Well it has to do with the metals that they use. They have a tendency of kind of fusing in once they've been in there since because of the different alloys used
