Steel Seal question

You mentioned a trick to help Steel Seal penetrate better by leaving the spark plug out of the cylinder with the leak. Since this fluid hardens by the pressure & heat caused by combustion, wouldn't you need to run it with the plug in for a while?

You may have been looking at an old video. To my knowledge Scotty has not recommended Steel Seal in quite some time.

You have not given us any details at all about your vehicle or what symptoms lead you to believe you should use a snake-oil "sealer" product like Steel Seal. Bear in mind that such "sealers" are temporary band-aids at best that may not work at all or might even clog up your cooling system. They sometimes will provide some temporary relief in a vehicle where the only other choice is the junkyard. (The only real repair for a blown a gasket is to replace it.) If you want to try your luck, these days Scotty currently recommends Bars Leaks head gasket sealer.

Also next time please put your question in the body of your post, not the title line which is meant for a short description. Thank you.
