Hi Scotty, I love your channel and find it inspirational. Your videos have inspired me to take pleasure in caring better for things, trying to problem solve more and saving money. Sincerely - thank you for your realistic and unpretentious approach to YouTubing. An antidote to the "throw away" culture we seem to live in when times are tough. I have a 2015 Mazda 6, 2 litre naturally aspirated, manual. My wife is a sales rep and used it for a while so it has 90,000 miles on it. I got offered £6,000 for it and only have £4,500 left to pay off on it. My plan is to pay off the £4,500 and run the car for the next 5 years doing about 12,000 miles a year. Do you reckon this is realistic? Am I onto a winning plan here and do you have any tips for general maintenance on it? Is the fact it is not turbo-charged to my advantage in terms of durability? Mazda now offer a turbo charged version of the Mazda 6 in North America due to demand for a punchier engine but we do not get in Europe where petrol prices are higher. Best wishes from Scotland where we produce oil but it still costs a fortune to fill our tanks!
If you maintain your car properly (see your owner's manual), and don't drive like a nut, your Mazda 6 should last another 60k miles. Of course, you'll have to get tires and brake pads and a battery and the like, but major repairs beyond something like an alternator or starter are not that common. Non-turbo is a longevity plus, in most cases.

You can’t easily get manual transmissions in the US anymore. IMHO, you are sitting on an amazing vehicle. Keep good care of it and it will treat you well.
