Hi Scotty,
My wife has a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the 9 speed transmission with about 90k miles. I was going to change the trans fluid and keep the old fluid if it starts to slip after I change it. Should I use the ZF fluid or the MOPAR 8&9 speed fluid.
Ps I told her not to buy it because it was a Fiat but she wanted one because she had an old Cherokee. I told her they aren’t even remotely close now but I’m sure you know how they can have there mind set on something.

Best to use the OEM Jeep fluid. Modern transmissions tend to be very sensitive to the type of fluid used in them.

Use the OEM. When you do drain and refill, only a portion of the fluid comes out and so you don't want to mix two fluids.
