| Brake rotors with ridge on edge 2009 E350 Mercedes | 15Relevance | 2 years ago | doguser3@askdaniel.net | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi, Can I just replace the pads on a 2009 E350 Mercedes front brakes? The rotors look pretty good but have a ridge on the top outer edge. Will the new pads just fit inside that ridge or wear to it quickly or should I grind it off or get new rotors? Car stops well now with not pulsing. Has about 130K on it. Also if it just can take brake pads I would use the one Scotty recommends but when rotors are also needed seems that many companies make a set of pad and rotors at a good price but what brands to people recommend in a mid budget level? Not the cheapest but not the high end. Thanks | |||||

| ... currently getting ready to be recalled due to transmission issues. The 6R80 is light-years better than any GM-Ford 10-speed, but certain electrical components within the transmission can still malfunction on 13th gen models. When the malfunction occurs, the transmission may select 1st gear, even on the highway, possibly leading the rear wheels to lock up. I have the 12th generation of the F-150 with the same transmission, and I'm suspecting this may be an issue with the vehicle's lead frame/valve body. ford had lead frame issues with 12th gen F-150s, causin ... | |||||

| I had a '18 Mustang GT and an '19 Mustang GT CS. Both had those same sounds and ford said both were normal. I got rid of both after I used them for the promo I bought them for. My F150....was a disaster. 3 engines and a trans within the first 6k miles/6 months. I eventually sued ford and got them to buy it back after a year of litigation. That was the last ford product I, or any of my friends and family, will ever own. And I have a huge collection of Mustangs. But ford has really fallen out of grace. I get how you feel. Some guys have had their engine borosc ... | |||||

| especially the ecoboost ones are horrid run away, they tend to fall apart Mod_man: I don't think you would want to deal with this: 3. 2018 ford Mustang GT - 8,000 miles. The ECM took a dump and had to be reprogrammed. 4. 2018 ford Mustang GT/CS - 5 miles. Driver's side seat rail bolt came out on my ride home from the dealer. That was fun. 5. 2018 ford F150 XLT SuperCrew 5.0L - Oh bother. 1. 2,000 miles - burning oil. Did dealer test. New block installed. 2. 4,500 miles - burning oil, hood became misaligned, transmission slipping. Dealer ... | |||||

| Answer to: Bought a 2016 Ford Fiesta SE (Automatic) for 6500$ total. Terrible decision? | 15Relevance | 9 months ago | MountainManJoe | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| No. The clutches are the problem. Replacing them won't fix it . The flaw is in the design -- dry clutches which overheat. The defect was deemed "dangerous", and it's unfixable, which is why ford had to buy the cars back. Not only do they make bad cars, but they are scumbags about it.... "... investigations conducted after the Focus and Fiesta models were succeeded, has revealed that ford engineers and executives were aware of the problems before and after the release of it, with developmental engineers even stating in company ... | |||||

| ... bearings, sufficient cooling and lubrication, all those things. Sure that same engine would last longer if you didn't put the turbo on it, and a V8 engine will last longer if you lower the compression to 6:1. The EcoBoost engines ford puts in their F150's were all designed from the ground up to be turbocharged. The ford GT version of the 3.5 EcoBoost puts out 647 hp in the ford GT... if it can handle that level of power, then the 375 hp my F150's engine puts out is not likely to overtax it. Main bearings and rod bearings only know how much force is being pu ... | |||||

| Dear Scotty, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share my experience with the 2024 ford Mustang GT, V8, with you and your followers. Unfortunately, I have encountered challenges with both product quality and customer service. My wife has a deep appreciation for the Mustang's aesthetics and performance, prompting us to acquire a new one for $50,000. However, after only four weeks, the car began experiencing random starting issues. We promptly took it to the ford dealership, where they initially attributed the problem to the battery. | The GM-Ford 10-speed has given both ford and GM massive headaches. They jointly designed the transmission, which ended up being so bad, GM and ford swore they will never work together again. They've had multiple recalls regarding the lousiness of it. Knowing both ford and GM, they're probably band-aiding them until they hit 5 years old or 60,000 miles and then it magically becomes your problem, not ford's. The engine is also way too small for the application. I have an old 3.0 in my 1999 ford Ranger, which is a compact truck. It has 293k miles on it a ... | |||||

| Hola Maria, No soy un tipo ford. Prefiero mucho Toyota. | |||||

It’s based on a small European market family car, has nothing to do with ford’s other trucks or trucks in general.
