| 128,255 - kesterpaul62 I honestly hear what you're saying, and would jump at the opportunity to allow someone with experience and expertise to take over. Unfortunately, I'm hoping to get lucky with this one, I live in a remote area, on disability, and the car was given to me. ....I'm just praying at this point. I lacked to further explain that i can force the vehicle into 4th gear with first shifting into the 3 gear on the column shifter. i can drive up to 45ish mph but must maintain RPM of 4000 for a small length of time and the car will then (not forcefully, or hard, or jerky) shift into the 4th gear that it does not shift into while the column shifter is in the D position at start. However, as soon as the shift occurs I manually move my column gear selector into the D position and continue driving like nothing was ever wrong, until the dreaded slow downs that cause the vehicle to downshift once again. At which time the manual shifting must commence once again. this is what lead me to think it could possibly be the pressure control selenoid, but like previously stated, there are absolutely no powertrain codes firing off in the obd2 at this time. | |||||

| Can I put smaller wheels on my Corolla | 8Relevance | 3 years ago | DBARBRET | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hello Scotty I hate the low profile 18 wheel on my 2020 Toyota corolla SE 2.0 L CVT ( p225/40R18) always rubbing against curbs all the wheels are torn up along with the tires. Only has 25,000 miles. Can I get 16 inch wheels with a bigger tire so I have regular tires. Every where I search online it looks like you cannot. But then a Guy from Canada says they come standard on the SE there because of the snow. What do you think ? PS thanks for all the valuable info you give out Your the best JTDP4CE5LJ002257 vehicle number Dave B | |||||

| Welcome to the forum. Scotty and most members here would probably agree with you that Toyota still produces the most reliable vehicles today. By the way, you may want to take your email address out of your displayed names via the My profile menu. Right now it's ripe for harvesting by spam bots and scammers all over the world wide web. | |||||
