| Hi guys, I'm looking for any help with my 2012 Lincoln mkz Hybrid. A few days ago, out of nowhere, it turned on but wouldn't start. The control panel had the following icons: "stop safely now" and "cross traffic system fault". My simple OBD scanner showed P060C (Internal Control Module Main Processor Performance) as the only error code. Tried resetting the PCM by disconnecting the battery and draining power reserves like in this Scotty video. Also had the battery checked in Autozone and replaced (it wasn't too bad, but it was last changed in 2018, so figured ... | |||||

| Looking at this Lincoln mkz at a dealership. 50k miles and has hybrid FWD Aisin e-CVT 2.0L Atkinson style. Are these sedans pretty good long term like to make it 150,000 miles? I thought that Toyota uses the Aisin transmissions so just curious. Thank you all for your help! | |||||

| Scotty, I have a 2014 mkz with approximately 80K miles and my sunshade on the panoramic sunroof is stuck halfway open (or closed depends how you look at it) and that prevents me from using my sunroof. I'd like to fix the sunshade or just remove it altogether; I live in Maine and don't really need the sunshade. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. | |||||

| Hi all, I have a 2014 mkz with 127K miles on it. Intermittently after driving on the highway 20+miles when I get off the highway and come to a stop light (idle) the low engine pressure comes on and stays on for a few seconds. This only happens for the first couple miles after exiting the highway. What could this be? Thanks for you insight! | |||||

| My 2007 lincoln mkz has been to several shops to no avail because my car at times won't accelerate normally.when it happens I notice the abs light and the traction control light come on with it.ill pull off sometimes and the car will jerk like I'm hitting the brakes but I'm not.when the car has the acceleratin issues for example ill be doing 30 miles and hour and it won't accelerate past that for like 10 to 15 seconds!lastly my mechanic said it was a bad o2 sensor and bad spark plugs!I guess that wasn't the problem because my car is still having the issues!I ... | |||||

| Hello, Thank you for your service and expertise! We own a 2012 Lincoln mkz Hybrid with 173k miles. For the last few months, we haven’t been able to depend on our car starting and have to keep a jump starter in the car. | Hi Scotty, I have a 2012 Lincoln mkz Hybrid (automatic) with 132,000 miles on it. When driving, one or the other headlight will go out. If I turn off the headlights and turn them right back on, the headlight works again. Both headlights exhibit this behavior. Thoughts on what is going on? Fix? | |||||

I'm planning to get a new car and I found a 2017 MKC Premiere with 78,270 miles for $14,990 and also thought perhaps getting for a lower price a 2013 mkz with 93,030 miles for $11,581. | So to tell the truth , the 2017 isn't the Best, it has good safety features but close to 60K Miles its making noise like my Old 2003 corolla after 13 years :). the price for the Kia and mkz will be the same or bit cheaper then Lexus 250 ES but I also want something bigger and less noise on the road when going 70 miles as im driving almost 18-19K Miles a year . the Camera is a good idea also, I need to check that also . thank you all | |||||

| Hello, I will like to thank scotty for his great website and youtube channel. I suffer from back pain and I find that the current toyota corolla 2017 has the worse chair that I ever driven . I'm thinking about replacing it with much comfy car , I found 2 cars that are good but to sure which one is more reliable for the long run. I'm thinking about Kia Cadenza 2017 technology or limited vs Lincoln mkz reserve AWD 2017. Which one will be more comfy but also reliable Thank you | |||||
