| I've had mixed feelings about Ford due to their reliability in the past but the Ariya in my opinion is too expensive. I want to try and stick around the $30,000 bracket if I can rather than spend $40,000+ for an EV SUV like a Mustang Mach-E or an Ariya. My top 3 right now are the leaf, Bolt or Ioniq; but with the rapidgate issues I've heard of in the past I'd be hesitant to get one unless they changed the cooling system | |||||

| Hi Scotty... I have a question but I want to first tell a story: My daughter has a 2014 nissan Versa Note. She told me she was noticing a "shudder" from the transmission. A little research showed that nissan had extended the warranty on her car's CVT due to the settlement of a law suit, so I called nissan Customer service and was handed over to nissan Consumer Affairs which told me to take the car to a dealer. The dealer said the transmission needed to be replaced at a cost of $3,702.48. Yes the warranty had been extended to 7 years, 84,000 miles. My d ... | |||||

The nissan RWD platforms are generally better in terms of reliability than the FWD platforms. For list of issues see below:
| Answer to: Ford Focus Electric vs Nissan Leaf | 24Relevance | 4 years ago | MountainManJoe | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Be aware that in the real world, electric cars do not perform as well as the hype promises. Are you OK with 40 miles range (no AC/heat) when the temps drop? "The range of electric vehicles can be greatly reduced, by up to 57%, depending on the temperature outside" AAA conducted a simulation to measure the driving range of three fully electric vehicles — a 2013 Nissan leaf, a 2012 Mitsubishi iMIEV and a 2014 Ford Focus Electric Vehicle — in cold, moderate and hot weather. ... | Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this. I am working on my Ranger and have swapped out the leaf spring mounts/bushings/u bolts but when the u bolts have been torqued down, they are going outwards... I reused the old plates but new u bolts/etc. Any thoughts? Was told this was ok as long as it was torqued down properly. | |||||

| Personally I’m not a fan of modern nissan. They produce such garbage that you’d be better off finding a better car at the junkyard. However, that car is almost brand new, and won’t start to fall apart (hopefully) for a few years. If you really like it, do what you like. Me personally I think the leaf’s look hideous and nissan quality is junk. If you buy that car planning on using it as a daily driver for years, I would absolutely think twice. | |||||

The class action lawsuit includes all U.S. consumers who purchased or leased 2014-2020 nissan Rogues equipped with Xtronic CVTs." A link to technical service bulletins can be found in the given link. | 2016 Nissan Rogue 97,000km Code P0776 - Pressure control solenoid B. Performance or Stuck Off. | 21Relevance | 5 years ago | Agonistes | Submit Your Question HERE
| Hello, My Dad has a 2016 Rogue with 97,000km on it.Went into limp mode the other day, and was towed to nissan dealership.I scanned it, and got code P0776. It's still under warranty for the powertrain. A couple of questions. 1. From what I understand, the pressure control solenoid is part of the transmission, so there is no way nissan should be able to say "not covered", am I right?2. How big of a problem is this? I told him not to get a nissan, and if they fix it under warranty, should he trade it in for a Rav4? Maybe a leaf if he's going to go electric?( ... | |||||
| Answer to: Opinions on 2002 Mercury Villager | 21Relevance | 4 years ago | Kaizen | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| The Mercury Villager was a collaboration between Ford and nissan. Ford branded it the Mercury Villager. nissan branded it the nissan Quest. The first two generations of this vehicle was based on the nissan Maxima platform, modified. I don’t know much about this platform, or the longevity/quality. With that said, since this nissan platform was built before the Renault merger with nissan, I would say it may potentially rival the quality of Honda and Toyota at the time. Just a guess, maybe others with direct experience with the Villager, Quest, or Maxima o ... | |||||

| I was gifted a 96’ ford 150… but it’s been sitting for seven years uncovered. I took it to a mechanic who said the housing and leaf springs were too rusted/corroded to lift for repairs. I’d like to slowly fix/trick it out. But is it worth it with the leaf springs and frames in such bad shape? | |||||
