| Hi i have a Volvo xc90 3.2L FWD with 122,250 miles on it roughly. I recently replaced the rear cats and muffler, as well as cleaned both upstream cats by soaking them in laundry detergent overnight, and then rinsing very thoroughly. I also replaced all the Gaskets and hardware from the exhaust manifold to the rear muffler clamp, and everything in between. Ive currently put almost 200 miles on since, and for the first 50 miles everything went good after i cleared the cat efficiency codes P0430 & P0420, then the code popped for Bank 1 again. the exhaust se ... | |||||

| Hi I have an 2006 xc90 2.5T Question, so I had gotten my front O2 sensor changed like 3 weeks ago. As soon as I left shop my check engine came right back on but it was running super better. Fast forward a few days later to last week the car started running rough. I took it back to shop to see what it could be and the same codes as before were showing up again I was told to take it to Volvo. So this morning on my way to Volvo car just started and run for maybe like 10 minutes to warm since it so cold in North Carolina. It completely just shut off on me. I wa ... | |||||

| Hello Scotty how are ya doing, I hope all is well. I have a 2011 Volvo xc90 3.2 2wd Automatic with 122,000 miles; and a bit of an odd situation. So The car currently has a Tpms light and check engine light on the dash. The check engine light is due to there being an efficiency code for all 4 of the catalytic converters, I believe it is not related to the cars electrical issues but rather there is a decent exhaust leak(Let me know your Thoughts on this?). But on to the odd ball electrical problems, as I stated earlier the only light that ever illuminated besi ... | |||||

| Hi Scotty, I live in Bristol, UK. Recently, I have bought Volvo xc90 T6 petrol engine, with gearbox issues. It has a semi-automatic transmission. The car goes reverse, but goes forward with only manual gear 3. Other manual gears (1 and 2) and automatic gear option D do not work. I asked my local garages for repairs but they said they are not specialists in automatic transmission problems. Today I have bought an OBD II scanner (Autel MaxiLink ML629 Automotive OBD2 Scanner, 2020 Newest Upgraded of AL619, ML619, Car Code Reader Check Engine ABS SRS Transmissio ... | |||||

| I have seen reviews and the Lexus does not gives a good mileage, and the rear suspension is not independent, making the handling kind of rough. I will be driving it in New York city mostly. The Volvo xc90 T6 to the contrary have a better mileage per gallon and it does have independent rear suspension. I am lookin to buy new, it will be a Business car / personal. Actually 80% business for private clients car service. Thanks Scotty. | |||||
| Window rolls itself down | 12Relevance | 4 months ago | Outbacker1 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I was driving in my 2012 Volvo xc90 when my driver side, passenger window just started slowly rolling down. The window button on that door, nor the one on the driver master window button panel could stop it from slowly rolling down. It eventually got all the way to the bottom by the end of my 5 min drive. By pressing that windows button it puts it in almost a free spool and I was able to shimmy it up almost all the way and duct tape it. Occasionally I can hear the window motor activating and running but the window just stays there. What’s the cause and how d ... | |||||
| Answer to: Catalytic converter | 12Relevance | 11 months ago | Justin Shepherd | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Cleaning a catalytic converter may not do anything. The catalytic converter is designed to last the lifetime of the car. I had a 1999 Ranger with almost 300k miles on it and it was still on the original catalytic converters. You need to troubleshoot. Two of your cars are pretty old. If you have an exhaust leak, it will most likely trip that code, or codes. You could also have lazy oxygen sensors. | |||||
