| Highlander, land cruiser, gx460, LX470, etc are all good. Lexus' may be expensive to repair down the road due to all the electronics on it. | |||||

| I assume you bought a lower trim Lexus NX, if you get higher trim, it will give you similar power to your RR. If you still want more power, get the RX350 or if you really need ultimate power, get gx460 or LX570. You have plenty of reliable options with Lexus. | |||||

| Avoid that Defender and run a way. With a simple search on YouTube, you will find the issues of that car from get go. If you are not a serious off roader and like to buy an SUV, based on your selection, I wthink you will be way more happy with Toyota Land Cruiser, Lexus LX 570, or Lexus gx460. | |||||

| In the US, The Prados are sold as Lexus gx460 and all have 8 cylinder 4.6 L gas engine (Petrol, if you will). | |||||

| If you are not a Lexus mechanic, I suggest you get a late model RX 350, not an F-Sport, certified pre-owned 1 owner, and not by a rental car company. The CarFax will show if it was owned by a rental company or not. Best SUV in the World; unless you need a third row, then the gx460 is the best for a used SUV. | |||||

| Hello Scotty, I have a 2014 Gx 460 premium with more than 330,000 kilometres, in middle east, purchased it from the first owner of the car that was meticulous with oil changes on time. He has used 0W20 or 5w30 time to time. Following that I am only using 0W20 regularly, never exceeding 7,500 kilometres and there has been no problem with the car and oil remains clean and free from any metal shavings. now many people are suggesting me to use 5W30 on regular basis as its a high mileage car, as per my own research, 5W30 isn’t suitable as oil weight can damage engine. On 0W20 it runs like a clock as you normally say with good engines. I need your suggestion on the oil, as its a hot environment throughout the year, should I continue using 0W20 or at least switch to 0W30 considering its high mileage and hot environment? Please suggest, as my next oil change is about 3,000 kilometres away. | |||||

| That's meaningless because not everything is reported to Carfax. You can't necessarily detect accident damage from videos, physical inspection is needed to look for subtle signs of repair both in body panels and chassis. Doesn't seem all that old (less than 10 years), but chances are it was overpriced since that's what dealers typically do. | |||||
