| Answer to: Electric cars are the future ? | 14Relevance | 5 years ago | Chuck Tobias | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| ... be pushing up daisies. Not to mention that the push to electric cars is not due to market demand but by the diktats of clueless politicians. It makes no sense, there is simply no good reason for it, and electric cars as they exist today are not practical for a very large number of people. Further along in the future, who knows, maybe someone will invent Mr. fusion. | |||||

| That is definitely a horrible gas mileage for a sedan. I had a 2015 Ford fusion SE before and I did highway only like you do with a little city driving. I got 35 mpg. And no, my fusion wasn't a hybrid. Did I follow the speed limit? No. I always drove 80, 85, 90 in 70 zone. | |||||

| I know you're not the creator of the car by any means, but you may be able to help me understand why my fiancé's 2019 Subaru Forester Sport with a 4-cyl engine and CVT transmission can tow less than my 2016 Ford fusion with a 4-cyl engine and a 6-speed automatic. My fusion tows 2,000 lbs. Any ideas from your years of experience? | |||||
| How Emotionally Attached to Your Used Car Are You? | 14Relevance | 5 years ago | Elon Dusk | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I passed by the Toyota dealership I traded in my 2015 fusion to buy a Camry today, and saw my fusion leaving the dealership. A youngster was driving it with an older man in the passenger seat. I guessed he was his father. I didn't mean to stalk but I drove behind it a while to silently say goodbye to my old car. I had lots of memories with it. I did pretty much every first thing in my life with it and it was damn reliable. When I saw that they had noticed me following them, I took the exit and watched them disappearing into the distance. Has anyone here been ... | |||||

| ... bought one instead of my fusion just because it was so cheap. And Highlanders are going to be 5 years old and have 120K miles on em. I got the fusion for 16K new which is 8 under msrp which was amazing because the market heated up literally a week after I bought it. The trade in value for the thing is 23K with 6K miles on it and I bought it in March for 16 and change. Looking for a nice Camaro, Charger, Mustang, or Challenger to trade it in for 😛 | |||||
| Answer to: Is it time for a new car? | 14Relevance | 5 years ago | Elon Dusk | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| ... So stay away from pre-owned cars for now. However, if you want to sell her car, now is a good time because you can ask for more. I sold my 2015 fusion that had 100,000 miles for $12,000 and it has a cracked front bumper. Its market value was $9,000ish in perfect condition in mid 2020. Don't buy an American car of any brand. The only reliable newer American car left in the market was the fusion and Ford has discontinued it. Stay away from German and Korean cars as well. Get her a Toyota, Honda, or Mazda. | |||||
| Answer to: New truck with trade in | 14Relevance | 5 years ago | Elon Dusk | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Don't buy the Ford Maverick. Avoid first generation vehicles. The 20k price tag is too good to be good. I'm certain it won't be built with high quality materials and by high quality workers. I don't think it will be body on frame, either. Besides the fusion which they have discontinued despite it's a reliable car, other Ford vehicles have issues. They make the best selling truck / vehicle in the US, the F-150, and it is having rust issues. I drove my 2015 fusion almost 7 years before I traded in for a 2021 Camry and it had no rust spot any where, even on th ... | |||||

| I have a ford fusion 2017, Im by trade a Electro mechanic and I do all the work on my vehicles. After only 67,000 Km's I had to replace both left and right ball joint on this fusion most of my driving is highway the ball joints are part of a single lower aluminium table assembly total crap design. For the first time in my life I also had to replace the rear brakes well before replacing the front. Ford placed a jacking screw inside the caliper piston allowing them to apply very thin pads on the new cars what a fraudulent way to make money on unexpecting owner ... | |||||

I know you said the Ford fusion impressed you, and sense the MKZ is pretty much a fusion, i was thinking the MKZ could be a pretty reliable car. What are you thoughts on the Lincoln MKZ? | @daywalker Oh its the 3.5 and 3.7? Then you would want to avoid it, this also includes the fusion V6. The eco-boost isn't that well made either. You could look for a 2015+ Ford fusion 2.5 if you could afford it (lowest class engien anyways). Or just get a Toyota Avalon and be happy;) | |||||

| When To Sell My Car and What SUVs Last The Longest? | 14Relevance | 5 years ago | Elon Dusk | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I'm currently driving a 2015 fusion SE. It's been serving me very well after 100,000+ miles. I'm going to have a family soon and purchasing a SUV may be necessary. However, I do want to get the most out of my fusion to save money. What are some signs that a car is starting to fall apart? I've heard that when the transmission begins to show problem, it's time to trade in your old car and get a new one. My second question is which of these car would last longer: Subaru Outback, Toyota Rav4, and Honda CR-V? I'm not looking to buy a hybrid. A regular gas engin ... | |||||

| Also Consider a 2017 or so Toyota Camry/Honda Accord. Also please list the engines in the fusion. The 1.5 Ecoboost as well as the hybrids should be avoided and the 2010 is the worst year of the fusion because of transmission and power steering issues which could get into the 5-10k to fix in total. | |||||
