| Transmission fluid brand | 17Relevance | 2 years ago | Paradox | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I have a 2017 Buick LaCrosse. I had the transmission oil changed a few years ago at the local car shop for less than $150 (Drain and fill). Now it is time for another drain and fill and my new local shop says the car takes a special oil at $75 a quart and this will cost over $600. Did the first shop use a universal oil which is not for this car or is the second shop the correct one? I looked up taking it to a place like Aamco but they talk about some special complete transmission flush which I thought was not done any more. Any suggestions? | |||||

All the other trim values, short and long, are between -3% and +3% at idle. Car is very well maintained (spark plugs replaced and throttle body cleaned at 110K miles). Car runs well. | What’s the difference between an engine front cover seal and a valve cover gasket | 17Relevance | 3 years ago | ladybit | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hello everyone, Is there a difference between a Engine Front Cover Seal and a Valve Cover gasket replacement? I took my car in because I notice after my oil change I smell excess oil which eventually gave off fumes a few day later.. mainly in idle. I took car back to dealership and they stated I needed a engine front cover reseal at a total of 2800 dollars. I recently in September had the valve cover gasket replacement done at a tune of 1800 dollars. My car is old. 2010 Buick LaCrosse with 193,400 miles. Any advice? | |||||

| So in 2020 I bought my very first new car, a Buick Encore GX. I didn't want a Buick really because nobody in my family EVER bought or had a Buick but of course I was in need of something new. When I drive the car off the lot it was ticking, New cars I thought used to be quiet. Driving from MI to TN often I have 58K miles on it. Friday Jan 6th the check engine light came on and all this crazy stuff started happening. The rear camera came in while I was driving forward which made me think I was driving backwards and almost caused me to get into an accident. T ... | |||||

| Answer to: Oldsmobile good or bad? | 17Relevance | 5 years ago | Kerem | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Well Oldsmobile is part of General Motors. "During its time as a division of General Motors, Oldsmobile slotted into the middle of GM's five divisions (above Chevrolet, and Pontiac, but below Buick, and Cadillac), and was noted for its groundbreaking technology and designs." So it was a premium approaching luxury division of GM and Scotty talks about GM a ton... They are ok not the best but better made then than now. If you have one and you don't have problems then good luck with your ownership take care of it! | |||||
