| Answer to: New tires on a $600 budget | 68Relevance | 4 years ago | Wagmore | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I had read that the AT was actually the AT3, before Cooper changed the model to 4s, XLT, etc. So I contacted Cooper via chat, and here is what I learned: "Yes. The Discoverer A/T is a private label tire that we manufacture exclusively for Walmart for sale on the online marketplace and in their stores. What this means is that even though Cooper manufactures the tires, Walmart owns all the marketing, advertising, and warranty rights to that brand. If the need should ever arise that you would have to replace the tires under the warranty, Walmart would be responsible for processing the warranty. Back in July of 2018, we introduced our new AT3 family of tire—the AT3 4S, the AT3 LT, and the AT3 XLT. These tires replaced the original Discoverer A/T3 tires. A couple of years later, Cooper and Walmart entered into an agreement where Cooper would be able to sell tires in Walmart stores and online at Walmart asked Cooper to provide them with an all-terrain tire that they could call their own proprietary tire and we suggested the old A/T3. They agreed, and after filling in the number three in the molds, we began making that tire for them. The Discoverer A/T is the exact same tire as the original A/T3. It is made in the same plant (Findlay, Ohio and Texarkana, Arkansas), by the same dedicated Cooper employees with the same quality materials and quality standards as every other tire we manufacture." | |||||

| Hi everyone! I bought a 2012 Manual transmission Mini Cooper s 2 weeks ago. After a while car's engine barely worked and stopped in the middle of the road. I scan the codes and I found that P10EE(Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Pressure low bank1). I changed the high pressure fuel pump($800) by myself and erase the codes. Car run very well for 15 minutes and engine worked barely again and stopped. I erase the codes again and drive the car for 30 seconds and it stopped again. I erased one more time and keep the RPM between 1000-2000 and I drove it to my home for 5 ... | |||||

| Well depends, if you watch one of Scotty's videos about the Mini Countryman, it was a decent vehicle, but they require a lot of maintenance. If you don't mind doing more maintenance, go ahead and get one, but don't overpay since they have no resale value. My friend has a 2015 Mini Cooper and she loves it and she takes very good care of it. If you want something that needs very little maintenance then walk away, since they can be endless money pits if not well maintained and parts can be expensive since it's all BMW and BMW owns Mini. | |||||

| Scotty what do you think of the new 2025 Mini Cooper having no oil dipstick and only available in a automatic. A lot of the BMWs removed the oil dipstick and Mini a subsidiary of BMW removed the oil dipstick meaning you have to rely on a electronic sensor. I bet that is stupid and you can't tell if you overfilled it or if the oil is dirty. | |||||

| 2020 Mini Cooper Car dolly towing | 44Relevance | 5 years ago | Cruz | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Scotty, Thanks for all that you do. I have a 2020 Mini Cooper convertible that I'd like to tow behind the RV. It is an automatic with front wheel drive. The transmission goes to park s soon as the engine is shut off. I'm not sure why but the tow dolly manual states to put the tranny in neutral for towing. The owners manual states that the proper towing technique is front wheels up but is referring to tow truck type towing. Mini dealers are reluctant to answer this question because they don't really know. One service dept. foreman said that it is ok but ... | |||||

| 2013 Mini Cooper S /R56 / N18 Engine Hey Scotty! I just happened upon your channel on Youtube and I'm hooked. I wish I had heard of you before I bought my last car. 2013 Mini Cooper (specs above). I bought it with really low mileage 8,000KM for $20k 7 years ago. It is still relatively low in mileage (80,000KM) but its getting on in years (10 years old now). I've been pretty meticulous in keeping the car running in top shape... change the oil and filter every 5,000KM, I've changed the plugs and coils last year and I just changed the ATF last week. The car h ... | |||||
