| Answer to: Should I buy a Lexus 2023 GX460? | 38Relevance | 2 years ago | Anthony Zingale | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| ... 10-speed transmission, fuel mileage for the GX550 will be better than that of the gx460. For $2K more, I would try out the TX500h. It's a hybrid, but it's a performance hybrid. This hybrid system is dubbed "Hybrid Max" in Toyota models and the TX500h is two seconds quicker 0-60 than the TX350, clocking in at 6.3 seconds (versus 8.1 seconds for the TX350). Plus, the 500h gets better fuel mileage than the 350 because it's a hybrid. Wishing you the best of luck in your search. Hope this guidance helps. | |||||

| Hi Scotty! I love your show, never miss video. I like your straight forward honest talk. I recently retired and I want to hit the road for an extended time and tour a lot of the national parks. I have a small teardrop trailer (3200lbs) and I want to find a Lexus gx460 to use as a tow vehicle as they have an excellent reputation. I'm looking for one under $24,000. Any year from 2012 to 2019. gx460's that fall in my price range typically have 100K-150K miles on them. If the seller has maintenance records and I can see that the car was well maintained, ... | |||||

| Hey Scotty, looking at a Lexus gx460 with 68K mi on it to replace either my 2016 Subaru Forester(72K miles)or wifes 2017 Nissan Rogue(24Kmiles). Both have no problems, but I feel it’s a matter of time. Is the gx460 worth the $28K price tag( I know it will outlast both of those cars) | |||||

| Scotty, I am a long time subscriber and for some time been considering a Lexus gx460 - just saw your excellent GX video...thanks! Curious, you compared your customer's 2011 GX to a new LX...but assuming a used 2018/2019ish gx460 to a used 2016ish LX570 in similar condition, each priced about the same . . . which vehicle would you choose for a long term, well maintained keeper (maybe one day give to my current 10 year old) that will be my daily driver for work (City and suburban) and family road trips / camping. Is one better built or longer lasting? To be ... | |||||
| Which year Lexus GX to buy? | 26Relevance | 3 years ago | Which_gx | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi Scotty! I want to buy a used Lexus gx470 or gx460. It must have a KDSS (active sway bars). Which year to look for? I heard that 2004 to 2006 are best, that Lexus introduced some issues in 2007 and carried that issue into the second gen gx460 until 2013 or so (and newer ones are too expensive). Also, is there a way to detect if a car has that KDSS option (without asking for a picture of the rear axle)? | |||||

| ... new models. At that budget your best bet would be if you want maximum luxury at maximum reliability: 1. 2010-2013 Lexus gx460 Excellent car with all luxury features and suitable for a family and above all DEAD reliable! 2. 2009-2011 Lexus Lx570 / Toyota Land Cruiser Excellent vehicles that I don't think will ever be built at the same quality and toughness again and I think scotty has a video where he stated it could well be the best suv ever made. However, repair costs and maintenance might be a bit higher than a gx460. I would only buy one of the ... | |||||

| Premium fuel for 2020 Lexus GX460 | 25Relevance | 3 years ago | adarzins23 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Is premium fuel absolutely required for a 2020 Lexus gx460 with the 1UR-FE 4.6L V8 engine? I bought this used with 26,000 miles. This exact engine is in many Toyota Tundra trucks but Toyota only requires regular gas for these vehicles. The compression ratio for this engine is 10.2:1. If I put regular (87 octane) gas in the Lexus, could it produce knocking and potentially hurt the engine? | |||||

| I'm considering buying a 2016 Lexus gx460 with 153K miles. Its being sold by a Toyota dealership in Oklahoma for $20,000. It has black interior and exterior which is what I want. Additionally it has had 2 owners, and no minor or major accidents. Speaking with the salesmen I got closer photos of the interior, exterior, and frame. Only issues is there is a small hairline crack in the bottom right passenger side of the windshield. It's very rare a clean one from a dealer or even private seller pops up in Central Texas where I live. Is this too much? Edmonds ... | |||||

I bought 2012 Lexus gx460 about a year ago (EOY 2022) with 160,000 miles on it. The exterior looked decent except a minor paint peeled spot on driver side rear due to a “minor” accident. The engine is super smooth and It drives really well up to 60, 70 miles per hour. Plus, it goes straight and no bolding spot on any of the 3 year old tires. Judging from the Lexus owner’s website (by VIN number) show ... | |||||
| Answer to: Lexus GX460 or Volvo XC90 | 25Relevance | 3 years ago | nlord | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| The gx460 is overall a good reliable luxury SUV that can go most anywhere. It scores a bit lower than the GX470 but I think that is because they put some more bells and whistles on it. That particular Volvo is owned by many highly disappointed customers. | |||||
