  1. Hi Scotty,

I have a 2003 Honda CR-V with 252 thousand and some hundred miles on it.

recently (Within last month) Had a major oil leak causing most of under hood area to be oil soaked on left side near power steering /alternator... Burning smell and constant oil puddle under car. I had it degreased multiple times, valve cover gasket fixed (Oil leak seems to be gone yet some parts still look greasy under hood), brand new alternator put in (Was oil soaked), brand new battery (was Old and over surging/charging  ? Due to oil soaked alternator), new upstream o2 sensor put in (had smell from exhaust and poor drive ability prior), new spark plugs (had Irregular misfires, rough idling , no power) and after all of this and around $1,300 spent at a decent shop ... my car has basically no power at all. Extreme rough idling and sometimes shakes so much upon start it feels as if it will stall out- but never does. NO power on highway or even small roads... 20 mph is the most I can feel the car will accelerate to safely... if I find myself going downhill car will gain momentum. Rough idling and shaking /misfire when stopped at lights or 4ways.... unsure which direction to go from here! I have 1 code on check engine light ... Po325 - knock sensor. This code has been showing for over 1 year. Live in Colorado and can barely get around anywhere at this time- Absolutely NO climbing mountains. This car has had about 5,000 put into it since 2019 (Hardly any maintenance done prior to moving it from Tennessee to colorado and driving pizza delivery and constant mountain adventures. I’ve heard these cars can go beyond 300,000. Any ideas on where to begin any other repairs as spark plugs or o2 sensor did not address issue. Replace knock sensor- Assume obviously if code appearing. Mass air flow? Catalytic converter? Fuel filter?
thanks in advance

I got a massive oil leaked infiltrated the electronic system and shorted stuff up you're going to have to trace everything all the connectors all the sensors all the modules and see if the code is the weather damaged and pray it hasn't done damage to any of the computer modules
