My friend helped me bleed my clutch about a month ago but I still keep getting a whining sound especially when cold. Sometimes it happens when up shifting but usually when down shifting or slowing down to a stop.  One friend said my might be my differential fluid level might low.  Any ideas?  I love this truck and don't want it to die.  Thanks {black}:sweaty:

The sound comes from right below the stick shift. Its like the clutch is not working.

probably a bad throw-out bearing

What is a throw out bearing?

Clutches on Tacomas seem to be a common problem. Poor engineering.

First you need to make sure your clutch is adjusted and properly. (Tacoma throw-out bearing shown @ 5:27)

You might want to post your problem in the Tacomaworld.com forum. Looks like there's knowledgeable guys there.
