I have a 2004 Honda Pilot with 100k miles on it. The manual says to change the timing belt every 100 k miles. Do you think I have a little longer than that? I drive it locally with limited highway miles.

Its pretty old, I would say you should definitely change it when you can, a car that old with such low miles is rare, it would probably normally be in the 200k's right now. Honda recommends that the timing belt should be replaced at 105k miles or every 7 years, whichever comes first, and that is way older than 7 years. Hope this helps

I would change it. Honda engines are interference engines. If that belt snaps, it's goodbye motor. 100k miles is the recommended mileage to have it changed.
