2004 Solara 114k for $1500
Someone offered me this. One owner. Just takes short commutes. I know I need to avoid beaters, but also trying to see if this is a good deal. Any feedback?

It's hard to find anything in running condition these days for that kind of money but you still need to have a good mechanic check it out.
I hear ya. It's either a 2004-2008 Corolla with 130k+ miles for $3k-5k or 2010ish with 180k miles for $5k. I'm not sure what's best but I guess a daily commute 😅 I'll try to negotiate for $1k and see what happens. Guy is in a rush to sell.
