Hi.

My car has buzzing noise coming from top part of engine sounds like from spark  plugs 1 &2 left to right.

Buzz sounds like lots of sparks jumping

This happens when car is idling when it's cold, when it warms up in 15 minutes goes away. However comes back again when you turn it off and wait 10 minutes.

Problem started when I changed pcv valve.

When I put the old pcv valve back in problem goes away. Went to parts store and got the pcv again. Same problem persists.

Last week changed Valve cover gasket, hence pcv valve.

Obd2 scanner shows no code.

Live data shows short term fuel trim goes up to +15 when heavy acceleration. Long term fuel trim is about going up to+14. Showing lean condition

When slowing down, STFT goes down to -21 and LTFT -8.

When idling STFT +1 , LTFT 0.

When idling if brake pressed and released STFT goes up to +8.

I understand there's a vacuum leak, don't know how to find it other than propane or smoke.

However if vacuum leak related to this.

Why would a pcv cause buzzing on spark plugs or coils?

What should I do step bu step and what I can be the possible causes?

Thank you all for reading .

The Scotty video on finding a vacuum leak should help that issue. As for the PCV, the original was OEM. Was the replacement also an OEM or OES from Toyota, or a piece of Chinesium? If it was Chinesium (non-OEM), go buy a replacement PCV that is OEM. And beware of counterfeit Toyota parts, as well. See this, on counterfeit Toyota parts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVA4RYql9KU

Getting the oem PCV solved the issue last week.

Thank you all for answering.

Note for those searching around for PCV help...

OEM from parts.toyota.com is sometimes an excellent, money saving move.  My neighborhood dealership wanted $16.07 (or some odd "0X" number) for my 2AR-FE/Rav4 engine.

Ordering online through parts, it was $6.97. Dealership was a little further away, but I was buying a ton of stuff. They often give free shipping over $75 too. Over and over, the parts website saved me 20%-30% over generic parts!!! Spark plugs, pink coolant, transmission filters (that was over 40%!), map updates (that was over 50% from the dealership).  The only things I am not enthused price-wise are rotors and headlight bulbs so far.
