Scotty and Community please help!

My 2006 Nissan Murano SL AWD with 143,000 miles was rumbling and stuttering after driving it at 45 mph for about 5 minutes. I connected my BlueDriver scan tool and got the codes P0300 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire) and P0021 (Int/V Tim Cont-B2). I checked the oil level and it is okay (has not reached the mileage to be changed but is about 5 months old). I did see some oil below the beauty cover near where the valve cover meets the head?

The coolant expansion tank is below the low-level line and was after the engine was warmed up yesterday. However, the radiator was full of coolant. Could this be a sign of what is wrong with my engine? Should I add coolant to the expansion tank? I am assuming my mechanic will perform a block leak and compression test of the engine. I would do this but do not have the time since I am a graduate student.

What could be wrong with my car and what should I expect when I take it to my mechanic to have it checked? He is an honest mechanic and I know he will tell the truth, just like Scotty! To add - this car is paid off and has been since late summer. 🤩 If anything I need to make it hold on for at least 3-4 months so I can save and get a RAV-4; lol.

I would start by going through the misfire sticky under FAQ.

For P0021 see here:

Those were somewhat prone to plugs and coils once you get the P0300 I would also check the negative battery cable at the trans sometimes they were corrode and brake causing this. For the p0021 it could very well be the timing solenoid on the cover or it could be an internal oil leak inside the timing cover. If you have the access or ability I would check oil pressure at the switch
