Check system pressures to see if there's enough refrigerant in the system to permit the compressor to turn on.

Also assuming your AC compressor has a plug going to it I would say check the fuse and also maybe even try replacing it to see if that is the reason. I'd do that before fooling with pressures in the system because if you haven't ever worked with AC even to hook a blue hose up to the areas where gas in the system is more sparse during operation and therefore colder along with hooking up a red hose to the port where the gas concentration is thicker so as to expel temperature then you are in for a shock on how difficult it is to properly seal your connections. You can easily vent your refrigerant inadvertently. Don't do that.

Okay so a while back I checked that went to the red to get checked I did said I needed a new compressor said 2k to do everything lol I declined bc I would like to do my own work I've checked fuzez relays aswell as the connector to the compressor all has power but the compressor wouldn't engage would I just get a new or or atleast a different one and just re install a new one

A new OEM compressor is best. Do you have the equipment needed to change out the compressor? Vacuum pump? Manifold gauge set? Not to mention that to stay legal the system would need to have its refrigerant evacuated at a shop.

When I mean I checked it was for the freon and ut went to the red saying to get it serviced

A proper manifold gauge set doesn't go into "red", it gives you a pressure reading. What is the actual pressure?
