Hello. I have a 07 Nissan Xterra 4.0L with an unending overheating problem. I have roughly 250,000 miles on it. I've replaced the temp control module, the thermostat, the fan clutch, the water pump, and the ac condenser fan. It still overheating. I'm completely at a loss. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for what you do.
A new radiator cap and a new temperature sending unit.

I'll try that and let y'all know. Thanks
A temp sensor won’t cause an overheating condition generally and those use two different radiator caps the one on the radiator won’t do anything if you replace it due to its a non pressure style cap on the radiator and if you put a pressurized cap on the radiator it will lead to further problems
I didn't say a temperature sensor would cause of alleviate overheating. I didn't say what type of radiator cap either, just a new one. What are your solutions to help this forum member?
For him to answer my question in what are the circumstances in which it overheats… sitting idling? Driving around town? Highway driving? They all play a huge role in where to look in the system ?
I changed those and added some head gasket fix to the radiator. It doesn't overheat now. Thanks for the advice. {pear}

Would run fine while idle. Started overheating as soon as I put on the road. However I just bled a crap ton of air out of the radiator and engine with a bleed kit and I bought new radiator caps plus I put a bottle of head gasket fix in the rad just in case it was getting combustion gas in the rad. It stopped overheating now. Thanks for the help. 🙂
Check your radiator coolant color
If its milky pink ur trans fluid has leaked into ur radiator
(transmission damage may also have occurred)

If the head gasket was the cause of your overheating then the "head gasket fix" added to the radiator didn't actually fix anything, it is a temporary bandaid at best. Might last a week. Might last a year. Keep an eye on it.
