Hi Scotty,
Love your YouTube videos. I have been having problems of going thru brake pads and rotors every 10,000 miles or so. Now at 100,000 miles I have vibration on braking again. Have redone brakes and rotors ( 5x ) and last time even went with oversized rotors but still the problem comes back.
I understand that the hard top convertible is heavier than normal G6 so that the OEM the brakes are undersized from some brake repair folks.
Should I try something special or just bite the bullet ever 10,000 miles?
What say you?
realize that either your brake master cylinder or brake booster could be sticking on causing the brakes to be applied lightly all the time wearing them out.

Thanks for the tip! I have really found your videos match up to my past experiences with my Toyotas ( 2000 4Runner with 180K miles, 2004 Sienna with 150K miles, 2007 Corolla with 200K miles) and now 2012 Lexus Rx350 with 100K miles. ) Family member got this G6 convertible that we want to keep ( convertible) but the nickel and dime stuff can eat your up!
Is the "vibration" at a speed comparable to wheel spin and connected to the rotor? Or is it at a speed that might be a suspension problem related to road conditions. Evidently you increased the size of the rotor and it still does the vibration so rotor size is not the solution.
A worn bushing that in not so noticeable with new pads might standout with worn pads. Even a front end alignment may not hurt. Do tires wear evenly?
Vibration is like a nagging wife. First you must find out what she is pissed about before responding. {black}:laugh:
@jimz
Thanks Jimz. This is a "Nagging" problem for sure. What I can say is after a brake job, car handles fine - no vibration on braking. Front end has been aligned, tracks straight down the interstate w/o holding on to steering wheel. Once you get over 10K miles, vibration upon braking. Then it only gets worse as miles add up.
