I have a 2011 Toyota Camry SE, Automatic, with 168,000 miles on it. While the battery itself tends to last for quite some time on a charge, I noticed that the area surrounding the terminals is starting to corrode. I got a new battery to solve the problem, but that same problem has slowly returned once more. I don't think this is an aging problem, so what could it be? Edit: Thank you so much for your video on which used cars to buy. It helped me find my first car.
Check the connections (they may be loose) and clean them once in a while. you can use some sort of grease on them.
You can buy proper electrical conectivity gell its like wd40 in a gell form i used to use it at work for ecu harnesses smear a bit on and it stops dampness from getting into it hut i cannot remember what its called a bit grease on terminals after a good clean works just as good
