[2011 Toyota Corolla LE, 210K miles, Automatic] Car making strange revving noises after running through a LARGE puddle

Hello all,

For context, last night in Northern California we had a bomb cyclone. Where I live it didn't particularly get too crazy aside from just really wet, river like roads, but water wasn't flooding highways or anything; mostly just city streets.

Anyway, as I was getting off the highway, the exit I Was taking just so happened to dip a little down then come back up. Well, it accumulated a TON of water and I went right into it. When I hit the puddle it almost felt like a low speed collision, and I would imagine the water might have gotten to at least half wheel height (15" wheels) but I managed to drive through it (I had no other option)

The car was running well, and I made one stop at a store just to grab any emergency supplies I might need. This morning, when I turned the car on, it made a strange nasally reeving sound. It almost sounded like the car had two revving sounds. Unfortunately, I can't provide a recording. I tried recording, but the sound just doesn't come out in the recordings I tried.

When I turned the car on, and it was idling in Park just while the engine got a little warm, I had the strange revving sounds and then RPMs were a little higher. Not like anything crazy high, it was just a small increase in RPMs

The revving sound would come up at low speeds when lightly stepping on the gas (like if I'm navigating a parking lot) and also at higher speeds but not as loud (although I imagine the regular engine sound was drowning it out). As the engine hit a stable hot temperature (about mid-gauge) the sound kind of goes away, although not entirely

EDIT: The revving sounds almost sounds like as if my car did not have a muffler on it, so aside from the engine/ revving sound that you'd expect from this kind of car, it's almost like it has a second one that sounds like the the engine is revving a lot more and there is no muffler

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction

Get your phone and make a recording put it on YouTube and I'll listen but you getting that kind of water in the cold water it's a hot engine there's no saying what kind of damage could be done you want to pray it didn't suck water in the engine if it did it bent the Piston rod you'd have to rebuild the engine

@scottykilmer Here is a video link. The video is unlisted, so only this link will work: https://youtu.be/tA54x-6spUo

I made a few more observations. The noise is more of a rattly raspy sound almost as if something came loose after impacting with the puddle and it's dangling and maybe interfering with something else. It is audible when the car is idling in any gear but mainly apparent when in park and when in drive if I am lightly applying gas. Once I start to pick up speed the noise more or less goes away.

When turning off the car, there is a bit of a "clank" noise. I've compared the noise to other videos of bent piston rods but it doesn't sound the same. I also took the car out on a spin at night when most people are no longer out (in case anything were to happen) and the car runs just fine minus the noise.
