No issues with spark plug, wire, coil or 02 sensors. New fuel injectors. Did smoke test no leaks.
I'm at a loss......please let me know what I should test now.
Spark Plug and Ignition System:
Inspect the spark plug for signs of wear, fouling, or damage. Replace if necessary.
Check the ignition coil for proper function. A faulty coil can cause misfires.
Ensure proper spark plug wire connections.
Fuel System:
Check fuel injectors for clogs or leaks. Clean or replace as needed.
Verify fuel pressure using a gauge. Low pressure can lead to misfires.
Fuel filter: Ensure it’s not clogged.
Compression Test:
Perform a compression test on cylinder #6. Low compression can cause misfires.
Compare compression readings across all cylinders.
Vacuum Leaks:
Inspect vacuum hoses for cracks or leaks.
Use a smoke machine to identify any vacuum leaks.
Exhaust System:
Check for exhaust leaks or restrictions. A clogged catalytic converter can cause misfires.
Engine Mechanical Components:
Inspect the timing chain/belt for proper alignment.
Verify that the engine is mechanically sound.
the newer cars/trucks dont have ignition coil lines, that connect to the ignition coil. they are harnesses lines, that may need to be replaced. and hope you dont ever plug those in the wrong ignition coil.
if its timing chain that controls valves, it could be worn and screeched timing belt/chain, incorrect timing or bad belt/chain tensioner.
it could be bad and bent worn cam shaft as well which is super common on a massive truck.
