Hello Scotty, I would like to tap in on your experience - have you seen a similar issue:
I have a 2013 F150 with 191K miles, battery is about 3 years old, and recently I get a "service advancetrack" message and the traction lamp stays on. This happens during normal driving cycles, I tried to do some specific steering situation but it does not matter it appears, then the message and lamp disappears with more driving.
Upon checking the DTCs I get this:
Code: B1304 - Electronic Power Assisted Steering System
Freeze Frame #1:
-MODULE_VOLTAGE: 11.3 V - Control Module Voltage
-PWR_MODE_KEY: Accessory - Power Mode Key State
-PWR_MODE_QF: Eval in Progress - Power Mode Quality Factor
-SW_ANGLE: -455.70 ° - Steering Wheel Angle
Code: U0422 - Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module
The interesting part is when I used the device to monitor the voltage on the module and angle, because I suspect the steering angle sensor, so I set the 3 graphs, voltage at the device, and steering angles. What I noticed is that there is no strange input from the sensor, but the voltage drops sporadically every few seconds or minutes for no specific reason, this test is done with normal driving with an average speed of 40mph. I checked then with the PCM I get there not only voltage drops but spikes, you can see here:

So what would be your opinion? - Faulty generator, and if so, would changing the diode-block would be enough, or I need a complete new part. Battery, or the power steering has to be changed, or maybe something else?
Thanks for your time,
Cheers,
K.
NB! The engine is a 5.0 Coyote.
