2013 Hyundai Elantra timing chain keeps breaking

I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra with about 150000 miles. About a year ago the timing chain broke. I paid to have it replaced, but it has broken two other times in the last year. Luckily, the same shop has replaced it without charge under warranty, but I’m wondering why this might keep happening? The chain recently is starting to make noise again. I don’t  want to keep taking it in for the same issue, but at least it’s a free fix for now, and it runs great whenever I get it fixed until it happens again.

They’ve tried an aftermarket and the last time an OEM chain. They have replaced the tensioner as well.

The mechanic says he’s tried different things and just doesn’t know why it keeps happening. I wanted to take it somewhere else, but don’t want to pay again for the same repair it wasn’t cheap. Any advice on this?

Just realized those engines are pretty much garbage as they age and if the engine itself is worn cam bearings crank bearings it will make the timing chain wobble too much and then break over time. I find on those Korean engines once they break it's best to get rid of them rather than attempting to fix them over and over again because they're poorly made and when one part is broken the rest are soon closed behind
