2014 jeep Patriot, shutting off while driving/idleing

2014 Jeep Patriot, 120,000 miles, Automatic CVT, no codes. Fiancé car, aside from simple wear items on the vehicle having to be replaced, wheel hub assemblies, coil packs, PCV etc... the car has only had 1 ,what I would consider moderate repair. The radiator developed a small Crack which eventually and naturally got larger, necessitating a replacement. That along with the Hub assemblies, we're replaced at the same time about 3 months ago. The vehicles ran fine for about 3 months before it started, dieing while at idle or while driving. The curious part is that I can't seem to recreate it, intentionally at least. I've had it die after idling 5 minutes, I've had it die after idling for over an hour, it'll sometimes die after pulling out of the parking lot, and sometimes it'll die after making it to the other side of town. Sometimes it'll run just fine, but everytime it dies, we can sometimes wait 30 seconds or sometimes 10 minutes but it will start back up and continue to run. I've attempted to trouble shoot it, checking Alternator, battery, fuel, air Spark etc... and everything seems to be working fine. Admittedly I have limited experience troubleshooting issues like this so it's a definite possibility I missed something. There are two things that have been bugging me about the situation, the first is the fact that the Electric Throttle Control light, stays on the dash for about 2-3 seconds after cranking the car and disappears never to be seen again until its time to crank it again. Maybe I'm just not that observant, maybe this is normal and I'm just reading into something, not sure. The other thing, is that she had driven to work about 20 minutes from home, vehicle ran fine until she was on her way back, the engine seemingly shut off, as she was trying to coast the car to a safe spot to get over, her foot still being on the gas, the engine "magically" came back to life. This happened after it had died twice before on the same trip. All in all I'm lost. Please help.

Well the electronic throttle light should never come on. There must be something wrong in that system, but it's a complex system. You'd have to pay a guy like me with the fancy scan tool to do bidirectional testing. Or you could just guess what the paddle sensor often. Those do go bad
