Hey Scotty I’ve been looking into getting a Kia Optima. Is it a good idea getting a 2015 Kia Optima sx turbo with 35k miles as my main car? Or should I stay with a regular Kia Optima?
Clarification: How many years and miles do you need the vehicle to last you? Also, the original powertrain warranty (10 year/100,000 mile) only applies to the original owner.

Just stick to a Corolla/Civic or Camry/Accord, instead..
Are their any major problems with the 2015 Kia Optima turbo?
The Koreans already have enough problems building NA engines, let alone adding more complexity of a turbocharger.. See here -

If you get that car with very low mileage and cheap, also want to keep it up to 100k miles, it can be an ok car, otherwise, forget it.
Neither, they are unreliable piles of junk. Get a Camry, Accord, Mazda6, if you want a midsize sedan.
