I proceeded to look into changing out the transmission fluid. I have been told yes, and no, to proceed. One place said there were too many miles on the vehicle to open the system up. Well, you're kind of stuck between a rock in a hard place. Those have horrible transmissions but without mileage. If you change the fluid now it may start to slip. I would have never bought that vehicle in the first place but my advice would be leave it alone and don't change it as you'd be tempting fate
