I have a 2016 Kia Optima 59.000 miles it recently had the check engine light come on codes were ran came up on 2 diff. devices as the intake manifold.. they replaced the solenoid part to it thinking that it was the issue which was not.. engine light went off and came back on a day later. Now still running same code .. been waiting a month now for the intake manifold.. tests have been run on everything on this vehicle.. even tho ran code it was running beautifully no other issue .. no stalling, ect. ran smooth.. can you tell me if their is issues with getting parts since it's been a month. was told that I would of started having issues soon but I caught early.. I did 2 diff. occasions had difficulty passing vehicles as my car with pedal pushed all way down was not getting power .. told the flaps were not properly opening and closing and this is why need a new manifold. Is this a major issue for Kia??
Idk who your taking this car to but stop it now. Intake manifold? "flaps were not properly opening and closing"

This is an intake manifold. It is a tubular piece of cast steel. There are no flaps anywhere on it. and it shouldn't take a month to fix ANYTHING on any car in a professional shop except for very old cars that are impossible to find parts for.
You need to find a proper mechanic and have them scan the car and figure out whats wrong. Best of luck.
