Currently 79,000 miles. I've had transmission drain and fill performed twice so far. The transmission is the original one and does not exhibit any problems. I am the original owner. The car has always been very solid with no major problems. I understand that there is no way to predict if/when the transmission might fail. However, I am curious as to how long some people have been able to nurse these transmissions along without failure.
No one can guess but these aren't good CVTs so just take care of it as you have been and see how long it lasts; that's all you can do.
You are doing a great job of keeping that transmission fluid changed regularly. So many people foolishly wait till six figures have been reached or longer than that and still no fluid changed. Keep doing it on routine schedule. Never miss it. You might just very well be our test guinea pig for determining how long the life of a CVT can be prolonged.
I have seen one at 100k driven by an elderly lady that babied it, I doubt she ever changed the transmission fluid.
Her kids took her in, my friends, and the car had an issue, I suggested they sell it as fast as possible, they didn't.
A couple of months later it pretty much died like the blues brothers car at the end of the movie.

Good thing you have been changing the fluid, drive it easy too. Could go a long while, but other stuff may start going.
They're usually dead meat by the 100,000 mile mark, sometimes well before that. However with regular fluid changes and taking it easy you might get lucky, it's been known to happen.
