2018 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 bad oil pump after dealer rebuilt my engine

Update info on the on going issues. So the dealership rebuild the engine. They replaced everything according to them. After 24 hours I get a Transmission Fault service now light. Today they tell me I need a new oil pump. A new oil pump at 34,000. This seems rare. I have never heard on an oil pump going bad with low miles or at all. With proper maintenance, which I am meticulous about. Won't they had access to the oil pump when rebuild the engine. Seems very suspicious it needs a new oil pump now. Comments and Suggestions please.

Do they change it under warranty or you have to pay for it?

It's under warranty and now they say it's the Transmission Stop and Start pump.

I'm very suspicious of the dealer rebuilding the engine themselves. This is not like overhauling a 1960 Falcon - rebuilding modern engines properly is complex and difficult. They should have installed a crate engine or factory rebuild.

Sounds like the Ford I know.

3 motors, 2 transmissions, and a partridge in a pear tree went into my 2018 F150 in the first 6 months before I sued them.

They have no interest in service after the sale.

I wouldn't trust a dealership to change my wiper blades, let alone rebuild and engine.
