Our 2020 Rogue hit 100k so I am changing out the plugs and coils (saving $700 DIY vs. Dealer and it's easy) Neighbors and friends said I need OEM parts - 🙄 but I picked up Denso Plugs and Coils at 1/2 the price of Nissan parts. I used the Denso site to cross-reference for the right parts.
Question: Do I need to use Nissan parts on this vehicle or is that just talk?
Thoughts on Denso - made in China parts? I have had good luck a decade ago with Denso....so I went with them.
I'll take other recommendations from your other non-OEM experience!
Thanks!

it depends. Things like sensors and engine parts, definitely.
consumables like plugs, filters, shocks etc. aren't as critical.
Question: Do I need to use Nissan parts on this vehicle or is that just talk?Denso manufactured the parts for Nissan. As long as you're sourcing parts using the OEM (company that made the part for Nissan) you are using the correct part.
Denso is the supplier of most parts on Japanese autos...
