Thoughts on 2022 Rav4 XLE Premium

I know Scotty loves Toyota's, but any issues to be concerned about the 2022 Rav4?   I've been reading online some condensation building up in the crankcase, due to the block being so air tight!

Thanks and never miss a YouTube program.

I'd be very curious about the source of these comments. By law, to reduce pollution, crankcases are ventilated into the engine intake (see PCV) and any moisture goes that way along with the engine oil fumes. A crankcase that was "tight" would break anti-pollution regs.

It's NOT because of it being air tight, it's because it has insane amounts of Blow-by.

(and because their "accelerated warm-up" doesn't do much.)

If it would be air tight there would be no water there,

EGR systems are subpar, they blow and cost thousands to repair.

Other than those major issuses, compared to other new cars, nothing I can think of.

I recommend looking to see if it is a problem with the Camry or Highlander, with the specific engine in the limited. They all use the same engines for the most part. If it is a problem across the board, it should show up in engines in other models.
