How to maintain my 2011 Toyota Sienta Dice?

I have bought a used (2nd hand) Toyota Sienta Dice (Model Year 2011)  from a Autocar Showroom. After purchase I have decided to change the Engine and Transmission Oil. The showroom told they have changed the transmission oil which is cvt transmission. I have taken the car to the workshop and changed the engine oil to synthetic 5w-30, but they told they cannot guarantee the cvt transmission will work fine if i change the transmission oil. What should i do now? The mileage is 39,000 km. I have converted the car to LPG and fitted wheel shape tank in the spare tire chamber.

Another point is the synthetic oil will run 5000 to 7000 km. During this time shouldn't I change the Oil filter as we used to change it every 3000 km when we used regular engine oil?

Thanks

tough question you should change the oil filter as it is apart of a oil change it could throw the point of the oil change out the window it could get full of gunk and mess with the whole moter... instantly thousands in repair. thisnis my best advice.

What did the workshop tell you exactly? Can you please elaborate further?

When you change engine oil, it’s good practice to change the oil filter too.

As for the CVT fluid, if the salesman cannot provide documentary proof of the fluid being changed by them, go ahead & drain & fill the CVT fluid yourself, using the Toyota fluid.

All the best!
