Hi: You say there are differences in quality based on country.

Please clarify-Are the parts used in different countries the same making the assembly the variable?

Interesting to note that in the early days, all Toyota trucks were imported from Japan, but they arrived in the US with no bodies on them.  The bodies were made in Long Beach, CA and added.  Which sort of explains why the paint on the bodies never really matched the paint on the cabs and the bodies rusted out and fell apart long before the Japanese made cabs did.

The parts come from the same suppliers. The country of assembly is what makes the difference.

 

A Toyota made in the USA is not going to be as solid as one made in Japan. Just better workers there at the plants.
