#1 Do front brake pads wear down faster if you don't replace the rotors vs. using new rotors.
#2 I once heard that you should change your rear drum brakes every 75,000 miles. I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla and I'm at 135,000 and have never changed them. They still work just fine. Is that normal or am I just lucky?

#1 - Not a problem if your rotors are in good condition. If deeply scored they should be replaced. (Rotors are cheap for most cars so I usually just replace them.)
#2 - It depends on how much stop and go driving you do. To be on the safe side pull the rear brake drums and see how much lining is left on the shoes. They will work OK until the linings are worn to the point that there is metal-on-metal contact.
