Hey, Scotty my car goes into gear but only revs. It reverse fine and moves a little in 1st. I changed the fluid & filter. Is my trans done for?

Pray you didn't put enough fluid in but if you have odds on your transmission is done that's why I tell people not to change fluid and really high mileage cars sometimes new fluid being so clean is more slippery and then it just slips

It was like this before the change. So the transmission is done? Could it be a solenoid
